WILD HONEY DANCE FESTIVAL, Byron Bay Oct-Nov 2010
NEW DIRECTIONS * INNOVATION * COLLABORATION
Wild Honey Dance Festival is an annual community event held in Australia’s alternative lifestyle capital, Byron Bay - home of the Rainbow Serpent. 2010 sees Wild Honey exploring dynamic new directions that highlight innovation and the organic nature of dance in our modern society.
WORKSHOP Weekend 23 & 24 October
with Hilary Cinis (Syd) - Contemporary Fusion
& Melusina (Melb) - Tribal Fusion

Suitable for: teachers, students, troupes and soloists.
Intermediate-Advanced level in any of these styles: ATS, ITS, Gypsy Caravan, tribal fusion, oriental bellydance, contemporary dance, afro, latin and yoga.
Hilary and Melusina have prepared intensive ‘dance lab’ style workshops that will skill up those attending, not only with technique, but also skills in dance development and creation that can be integrated into your ongoing dance practise. Participants will be encouraged to explore specific themes and invited to contribute ideas and movements to a choreography. Further to this, there is a performance opportunity at the Festival for those displaying a high quality of proficiency in the works created.
